Lay down the main vocal performance that carries your song and tells your story.

A More Personal Way to Shape Your Sound

Your lead vocal is the heart of your song, and getting it right takes more than just hitting the notes. I work with you to explore different approaches to your performance, finding the phrasing, tone, and emotional delivery that best serve the song. We'll do multiple takes, discuss what's working, and refine the performance until it feels authentic and powerful.

I pay attention to the technical side as well: mic placement, levels, and recording settings that capture the warmth and character of your voice. The goal is a vocal that sounds like you at your best, with clarity and presence that will sit well in your mix.

Ideal For

• Singer-songwriters recording their first original songs

• Artists working on a full-length project or EP

• Vocalists who want guidance on performance and delivery

• Anyone looking for a supportive, collaborative recording experience

How It Works

1. Preparation: You'll come to the session with your song ready, and we'll talk through your vision for the vocal performance.

2. Recording: We'll record multiple takes, experimenting with different approaches and refining the performance based on what feels right.

3. Review and Selection: We'll listen back together and choose the best takes, or comp together the strongest moments into a final vocal performance.
