Songwriting

I write songs and develop creative ideas for music projects.

Custom Song Development

Transform your ideas into fully realized songs with personalized creative guidance.

A More Personal Way to Develop Your Music

Whether you have a melody, a concept, or just a feeling you want to capture, I work with you to shape raw material into a complete song. We explore different directions, refine lyrics, adjust melodies, and build arrangements that serve your vision. This is collaborative work where your voice stays central and my expertise helps you get there.

Each session focuses on moving your song forward, whether that means writing from scratch, solving a structural problem, or polishing something nearly finished. I ask questions, offer suggestions, and help you make choices that feel right for your project. The result is a song that's genuinely yours, just clearer and stronger.

Ideal For

  • Artists developing their first original songs

  • Songwriters looking for fresh perspective and creative input

  • Musicians refining existing ideas or working through creative blocks

  • Anyone wanting to strengthen their songwriting skills

How It Works

  1. We start by discussing your concept, inspiration, or musical direction so I understand what you're aiming for.

  2. Together we work through melody, lyrics, structure, and arrangement, making real-time adjustments based on what emerges.

  3. By the end of the session, you have a clearer song, concrete next steps, and the tools to keep developing it.

Let's Talk

About

Nia Élan is a 13-year-old singer-songwriter and musician from metro Atlanta with a sound shaped by melodic R&B, atmospheric production, and a love for creating music from the ground up.

A songwriter from an early age, Nia writes her own lyrics and melodies, often hearing the direction of a song before it ever reaches the studio. She plays piano, studies voice, and is continuing to develop her skills in music production and recording as she builds a sound that is distinctly her own.

Her music reflects where she is right now: growing up, navigating friendships, finding her voice, and turning real moments into songs. Rather than trying to sound older than she is, Nia brings a young perspective to contemporary R&B while drawing inspiration from artists and musicians who put songwriting and artistry first.

With new music underway and a growing catalog of original songs, Nia is focused on becoming more than a vocalist. She is building the skills to write, play, create, and eventually produce the music she hears in her head.
